This policy applies to purchases of Entity Engineering made through entityengineering.ai, operated by Quantum Quill Digital (“we,” “us,” “our”). By placing an order — including a pre-order — you agree to the terms below. Please read the section that matches what you bought, and note the separate rules for pre-orders, paperback (physical) books, and digital editions (PDF / eBook).
Pre-orders
Most orders for Entity Engineering are pre-orders, and payment is taken in full at the time you place your order. A pre-order reserves your copy before the book’s release date of Nov 2, 2026. Here is how cancellations and refunds work while an order is still a pre-order:
- Cancel any time before your order is fulfilled — before a paperback ships, or before a digital edition is delivered — and you’ll receive a full refund to your original payment method. Just email us with your order number (see “How to request a refund or return” below).
- If the release date is delayed, we’ll notify you by email. You may keep your pre-order at the new date or cancel it for a full refund — your choice.
- Once your pre-order is fulfilled, the format-specific rules below take over: paperbacks become returnable under the Paperback section, and digital editions become final under the Digital Editions section.
In short: while it’s still a pre-order, you can cancel for a full refund. After it’s delivered, what happens next depends on the format.
Paperback (physical) books
Paperback copies may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund. To be eligible, the book must be in original, resalable condition — unmarked, undamaged, and not written in.
- To start a return, email us at [email protected] with your order number before sending anything back. We’ll provide return instructions and the return address.
- Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error (see below). Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned book.
- Damaged, defective, or wrong item on arrival: contact us within 14 days of delivery with a photo, and we’ll send a free replacement or issue a full refund — no return required, or with a prepaid return label. You should not be out of pocket for our mistake.
Digital editions (PDF / eBook)
Digital editions are non-returnable and non-refundable once they have been delivered or accessed. All sales of digital editions are final. Because a delivered file cannot be returned or “un-downloaded,” we do not offer refunds on PDF or eBook purchases after delivery.
- By purchasing a digital edition, you agree to immediate delivery upon fulfillment and acknowledge that you waive any right of cancellation or withdrawal once the download or access has begun. This consent is required for us to give you the file, and it is why digital editions are final.
- The one exception is our error. If a file fails to download, arrives corrupted, or you received the wrong item, contact us at [email protected] and we will repair the download, re-deliver the correct file, if we cannot make it right, issue a refund.
Orders containing both formats
If a single order includes both a paperback and a digital edition, each part is handled under its own rules above: the digital edition becomes final once delivered, while the paperback remains returnable within the window described. A refund on one format does not automatically refund the other.
How to request a refund or return
Email [email protected] with your order number and a short note about what you need. For paperback returns, wait for our return instructions before shipping anything. For damaged, defective, or wrong items, include a photo.
Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. The time for the refund to appear depends on your bank or card issuer and is outside our control; we process approved refunds within 5-10 business days.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country or region. Where such laws grant you rights beyond those described here, those rights apply.
